Description:

An exploration of pain, love and personal transformation which delves—poignant and irreverent—into questions of being and transcendence that blur the line between sacred and mundane. Viscerally poetic and as personal as it is universal, these selected works represent an invitation to feel our humanity more deeply, to remember our innocence, to reclaim our pain and to peer beneath the surface of life’s still waters running deep.

Beautiful Cloud, Faraway Sky  explores the beautiful agony of falling in love alone. This deeply human work chronicles the arc a single relationship in poetic snapshots that capture the transcendence of adoration against the backdrop of the seemingly insignificant, telling a story that is everyone’s through the most tender moments of love and suffering, a celebration of vulnerability and heart. There is no human experience more powerful- nor, perhaps, more devastating- than that of falling in love. There is medicine in these pages for us all.

Description:

Earth & Sky looks with a tender heart and a visceral touch at the transcendence of incarnation. We live in a world that has, for centuries, defined the spiritual endeavor- both consciously and unconsciously- as liberation from the body, as a rising up and out...to become one with the Father. But did we really come to this place and inhabit these soft bodies just so we could fight to free ourselves from them? Or is there a path of transcendence which takes us deeper down and in...to become one with the Mother? This book is a call to remember and to fall in love again with the Earth, to find in our frailty the devastating ecstasy of this human experience, and to beautifully become- like the trees- both Earth and Sky.

NOTE: I initially formatted this book as an epub for e-readers like Kindle, and the conversion to PDF was a bit left of center for the free download...Still readable but a few noticeable quarks. Alternatively, if you'd prefer the clean, interactive interface of an eBook I've marked it down on Amazon to $0.99 (which is the lowest they'll let me list it for). Link for that above.
